Observation

In one Childs file is a waiver was observed from a parent stating she is waiving WAC 110-300-0291 and allowing her child to sleep with toys or stuffed animals. The provider must follow safe sleep practices according to WAC. Waiver was observed signed by the parent and on SIDC letterhead. No official wavier from the Department has been approved to allow toys or stuffed animals at sleep time.
