Observation

1)a) The kitchen was accessible to children at the time of the inspection. The safety gate was missing the wheel on the bottom and was not latching easily, so it staff were leaving it unlatched. The slide-bolt latch is mounted on the outside of the gate and is a type of latch that a preschool-age child can operate, so even if the safety gate was latched, a child could slide it open and gain access to the kitchen. There were spray bottles of bleach water and dish soap on the counter in the kitchen, so they were accessible to children. 1)b) Spray bottles of bleach water sanitizer and dish soap were on the kitchen counter in the food preparation area.
