Observation

Most staff need qualifications inputted in MERIT. Multiple staff (Rylie, Vaiany, Stephanie and Amanda) missing 30 hours. Center Director reports they are all in the process. The center director is not currently meeting role requirements. Documentation will need to be submitted to MERIT. Multiple staff do not have qualifications uploaded in MERIT or in files onsite. It is recommended the Assistant director take the DCYF childcare orientation. The director and assistant director will need ECE credentials by 8/2026. Job roles are not in staff files and not accurately descripted in MERIT. There is staff on site (David) not on the center's MERIT page. MERIT is not currently up to date. There is missing staff requirements, including TB, immunizations, COVID requirements, CPR and First Aid and 30 hours initial training. Vianey is missing First Aid, CPR and bloodborne pathogens. Samantha is missing CPR and First Aid. Stephanie no 1st Aid/CPR Karen has no CPR. Evelyn is missing TB, she has documentation of going to to the doctor for TB but no results. Tishani and Karen is missing MMR. The center is having a First Aid and CPR class at the center on 7/30/22 for all staff missing first Aid and CPR.
