Observation

Diaper wipes in bags were viewed accesible to children in the batrhoom area posing a choking/suffociation hazard, packaging says keep plastic bags out of reach of children. 3 rolls of black garbage liners were observed in the bathroom accessible to children posing a choking/suffocation hazard. 2 boxes of rubber gloves were observed in the bathroom accessible to children posing a choking hazard. Strings were observed accessible to children in the classroom attached to the walls forming a loop that poses an entangle/choking hazard for children by forming a loop around a child's neck. Cabinets (cubbies, bookshelves, shelving units) were observed in the hallway and in the classrooms, unsecured to walls posing a tipping hazard. Cabinets were also observed free standing in the classroom, not secured posing a tipping hazard. Cabinets and shelving units, could be pushed as they have wheels posing a falling hazard to children. Room 1, had the tall cabinets secured, shorter cabinets were not secured. 6 tall and 4 shorter cabinets observed total in the room. Room 2, had the tall cabinets secured, shorter cabinets were not secured. 2 tall and 4 shorter cabinets observed total in the room. Room 3, had no cabinets secured, both shorter and taller cabinets. 9 tall and 5 shorter observed in the room. Room 4, had no cabinets secured in the room. 7 shorter and 2 taller cabinets. Cabinets in the bathroom, were not secured. Room 5, no cabinets secured. 7 total in the room, none secured. Door to laundry room, has a hole with sharp edges, posing an entrapment and cutting hazard.
