Observation

WAC 110-300-0165(2)(a) During the onsite monitor visit this licensor observed the preschool and toddler rooms combined together upstairs in the preschool room that had equpment, materials, objects, and toys that pose a risk of chocking, aspiration, or ingestions to toddlers. WAC 110-300-0165(2)(c) During the onsite monitor visit this licensor observed cords and wires that were accessible to children in the toddler room. WAC 110-300-0165(2)(d) During the onsite monitor visit this licensor observed plastic bags in the preschool room drawer under the sink that were accessible to children. This licensor also observed plastic bags in the toddler room that were accessible to children. WAC 110-300-0165(3)(d) During the onsite monitor visit this licensor observed a washer and dryer in the toddler room that is accessible to chiidren and is an entrapment hazard. Dispute Description: No children in the toddler room were exposed to anything dangerous (plastic bags, washer and dryer) that was an entrapment hazard. The toddlers were combined with the preschool students in the preschool room only. Although the number of students was over the ratio, we were over the number of staff to student ratio.
