Observation

(11) There is not a self-closing and self-latching gate. Staff are using a baby gate to prevent children from leaving the outdoor play area. (2) The outdoor play area is large enough for one child. There is an off-site play area available for use, however the department has not approved a plan to use this space. (4) There are no activities or materials in the outdoor play area. (7) The outdoor play area is not enclosed to deter people without permission from entering the area.
