0186 (1) The licensor observed that there was no Individual Care Plan (ICP) on file for two children, who has a documented nut allergy and follows a vegetarian diet. Additionally, no food plan was in place to accommodate these dietary needs. The licensor provided guidance that an ICP be completed and maintained in the child’s file, and that a written food plan be developed to address the nut allergy and vegetarian diet. The plan should outline safe food alternatives, precautions, and procedures to follow in case of accidental exposure to ensure the child’s health and safety.
