Observation

Based upon information gathered from interviews with referent and program staff, licensor determined that the program staff member responsible for supervising children at the time of this incident was not aware of the location of the child or what the child was doing for a considerable amount of time while at an off-site park. This dispute has little to do with us meeting the WAC or not, and more to do with the fact that the wording provided in the licensing report doesn't accurately represent the situation or the age of the children that were involved. Attaching this complaint to my preschoolers (as young as two years-old} is not an accurate indication of the level of supervision that is provided under our care. As discussed, we are happy to handle the unlicensed portion of our campus in a way that properly aligns with the requirements for school agers (and truthfully thought we were} but feel that it is unfair to provide inaccurate information that dramatically affects our business and credibility.
